Form Factor mATX

Pagrindinės plokštės fiziniai matmenys. siūlo ATX (pilno dydžio plokštė), mATX (micro ATX) (sumažinto dydžio plokštė) ir mini ATX dydžio pagrindines plokštes. ATX dydžio galima įntegruoti kompiuterio korpuse ir ATX, ir mATX pagrindines plokštes, bet mATX korpuse negalima įdėti ATX plokštės.

Plokštė ATX turi ne mažiau, kaip 3 atminties vietas serveryje ir ne mažiau kaip 5 lokalines vietas serveryje PCI, todėl šios plokštės gali sukurti labai funkcionaliai veikiantį galingą kompiuterį. Tačiau namuose ar darbui biure tiek daug vietų serveryje visiškai nereikia, todėl tiks ir microATX.

Pagrindinės plokštės maitinimo bloko sujungėjas yra srovės šaltinio lizdas, kuris šiuo metu yra ATX ir ATX2.0 standartų. ATX yra senesnis standartas su 20pin sujungėju (20 "kojelės"), o ATX2.0 papildomai turi 4pin (20+4). ATX standarto pagrindinė plokštė gali dirbti su ATX2.0 maitinimo bloku (PSU), o ATX2.0 standarto pagrindinei plokštei reikia ATX2.0 maitinimo bloko.

Form-faktorius turi rekomendacinį pobūdį. Prieš įsigyjant pagrindinę plokštę, įsitikinkite, ar korpuso dydis atitinka pagrindinės plokštės dydį ir maitinimo bloko sujungimą.

Mikroschemų magistralė (chipset) AMD B350

Magistralės žymoje yra atminties tipas DDRII arba DDRIII, bei maksimalus atminties takto dažnis, kurį palaiko pagrindinė plokštė. Svarbiausias rodiklis yra atminties tipas, nes įvairių tipų atmintys labai skiriasi, todėl DDRIII atminties negalima naudoti pagrindinėje plokštėje su DDRII atminties palaikymu (išskyrus tuos atvejus, kai pagrindinė plokštė palaiko abu atminties tipus)i Be to, pagrindinė plokštė, kuri turi 800Mhz DDRII atmintį galai dirbti su DDII667 ir DDRII533 atminties greičiais. Pagrindinė plokštė su atminties magistralės greičiu, kuris yra žemesnis už atminties modulio greitį, galės dirbti ne greičiau, nei nurodytas magistralės greitis, t.y. jei pagrindinės plokštės atminties magistralė yra DDRII667, tada įdiegus DDRII800 atmintį ji veiks DDRII667 greičiu.
